War Brides from WW1

One of my fellow genealogy pals and well known World War One war bride researcher is speaking for the Maple Ridge Historical Society, April 22, 2010 7:30 p.m. in St. Andrew’s Heritage Hall – 22279 116th Avenue.

Check out news item by Sheila Nickols.

Come and hear her speak and learn about this lesser known part of history. Most people know about the war brides from WW2 but not as much is known about those from the First World War.

Also, check out Annette's blog on the topic.
